Cheng Man Ching
Professor Cheng Man Ching was born in 1901 in China.
He was a Traditional chinese doctor, Maths and Physics Teacher, Poet, Chinese Calligraphy
painter.
He learned Tai Chi from the late Tai Chi Master Yang Cheng Fu. He mastered Tai Chi
and its function and applicationand became known as the Five Excellences.
Professor Cheng was the one that introduced Tai Chi in the West in New York in the
60's and 70's.
He has written many books on Tai Chi and the I-ching and remains one of the Greatest
Tai Chi Masters in the 19th century.
